The Woman Behind The Man Chapter 1The Woman Behind The Man
Chapter one:The Party
Damien was at another dinner party with Harvey Dean to Celebrate Damiens new titles as the President of the Youth Council and the Ambassador to the Court of St.James. Damien as normal was kind and polite to the other guests and talked to them when deep down he was bored to death, he decided to go to the open bar and have a drink, so he did exactly that and climbed onto one of the stools and was served a drink and then he looked around for Harvey who was busy himself and he sighed and his eyes wandered to the side a little and then they settled there.
It was there he saw her for the first time. He noticed her purple floor length strapless gown with a black bow around the middle and black trimming on the end of the dress first. She was the only woman there in purple.

Sure enough, there she was, right in the middle of one of the back aisles, sitting against a wall, a small stack of books next to her while she read 'Beautiful Darkness'.
He took note of her Khaki shorts, pink sweater that hung off her shoulders, and her socks, her sneakers right beside the books next to her.
He smiled at her blonde hair as her blue and green eyes scanned the pages of her book. He stepped closer to her before sitting on the floor in front of her making himself known.
